"En Tremblant" floral brooches were popular in the 19th century. The central flower is mounted on a spring and trembles as the wearer moves.

 

The brooch features over 12 carats of fiery old mine, old European, Cushion and rose cut diamonds set into 18 ct gold and silver circa 1830's.
